Terry Jackson is the brains behind Six String Studio.

He has spent years piecing together all the right gear and creating the right sort of space so musicians can be free to create exceptional recordings.

The Terry Jackson Story

Terry was destined to become the owner and operator of a recording studio. This was partly due to his family background in music. His grandfather was a pedal steel player who taught Chad Morgan, a pioneer of country music, how to play the guitar.

Additionally, his father played in a family band for many years and still collaborates with Terry in creating music. Terry’s father played a pivotal role in the establishment of Six String Studio, which has become a highly-regarded facility today.

Although Terry is a multi-instrumentalist, he humbly refrains from claiming mastery over any particular instrument. He is primarily a guitarist, but he also played drums for several bands, including touring with the late Keith Jamieson, a country singer-songwriter.

Terry began his career in the studio by recording his own band. He continued to invest in more equipment, leading to more opportunities, including recording an album for a local festival and another for a local blues artist.

Founding of Six String Studio

Fast forward to the present day, Terry is now the owner and manager of Six String Studio.

His passion and love for music have driven him to create a space where emerging artists can bring their music to the next level of development. He accomplishes this by providing top-notch rooms and gear, combined with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that allows artists to capture their best performances.

If you’re looking to take your music to the next level of recording and production, Terry would love to speak with you.
